http://Jedi.org/pluto/archives/005443.html Gothic and Gender: An Introduction/ Donna Heiland 很有趣的書，裡面用到最多的概念是Uncanny，但是這部分我完全沒有仔細看，反倒是Heiland在簡單敘述故事情節的時候看得津津有味，畢竟文本除了Frankenstein之外都沒有實際看過。但是談論Frankenstein跟gothic genre的文章，覺得還是Brian Stableford寫的比較清楚一點，雖然Stableford的立意在於證明Frankenstein的確是科幻小說起源之一。但是由於Heiland提出的"absence of mothers" 這一點好像也可以稍微印證到He, She, and It 裡頭Avram 和 Yod的關係。 至於其他有趣的地方有兩個，第一個是瞭解到了John Polidori 跟 Byron之間（可能）的八卦，另一個就是Magarat Atwood使用的 "costume gothic" 這個詞。Polidori 將 Vampyre 這本書獻給了Byron，據說書中主角也是以Byron作為性格來源，所以出現了Byronic Vampire（可以對照到Byronic Hero?)。Atwood 使用的costume gothic 似乎有貶低gothic novel之義，不知是否如此。... en-us http://www.dasxi.com/biglietto_teatro/ http://www.dasxi.com/biglietto_teatro/
