Help for people using Screen Readers

How our pages look

All of the pages on the site have the same “look and feel”. Here’s how they look from top to bottom:

The top of the page contains the Paciello Group logo and general site links including a link to the site map, Client center and a link to a page to change the colors and fonts.

Below these you’ll find the main site navigation, split into seven topics: Home, About Us, Our Solutions, Customers, Resource Center, Pressroom and a Contact Us page.

Below these you'll find the sub navigation bar, this menu changes according to the main topic.

Below this, the page splits into two columns:

1. The left-hand column (blue box) which will change as you browse through our various subsections.

2. The column in the centre (content column) is where you’ll find the text of the page you’ve browsed to.

For example, if you browse to the About Us homepage:

1. The blue box column will contain a short sentence to a whitepaper and provide a link to this.

2. The Content column will show the overview for the Paciello Group.

Navigating the site

We’ve built in a few “signposts” to help you find your way around the page if you’re a screenreader user. Here are some links you’ll find at the top of the page and where they’ll take you to:

* Skip navigation - skips past all navigation and contents lists to the main text on the page * Subsection navigation – On all subsections (About Us etc), jumps to subsection navigation

Heading structure

We’ve structured the site in a way that’ll allow you to take advantage of your screenreader’s heading jump facilities. The content column begins with a heading 1, while the menu and features columns each start with a heading 2. If a column is logically split into several sections, each section will begin with a heading so you can easily skip through the page.

Zooming in and font sizes

This site makes use of stylesheets that allow for flexible resizing of fonts to meet user requirements. The 'ChangeText/Colours' option near the beginning of the page allows you to choose how you want your text to appear.

Alternatively, if you find that font sizes are too small simply increase the default font size used in your web browser software (for example, in Internet Explorer font sizes can be changed in the View Menu under 'Text Size'). This feature may not work correctly in all web browsers.

Keyboard Shortcuts

The following is a list of shortcut keys that enable users (provided their browser software permits) to access links in the site and a number of buttons, or actions by pressing the keys on their keyboard. Depending on the user's browser software the keys below are usually pressed in combination with other keys such as ALT or CTRL. Consult your web browser documentation for further details.

PDF Format

Some of the information on this website is available in PDF format to provide for easier reading and printing offline. This format is not readily accessible to users with disabilities. Because of this we have provided these documents in accessible HTML also. Links to the HTML version are provided next to links to the PDF version of a document.
